Schizophrenia study accepted for publication

A study involving a total of 154 individuals has been accepted for publication in Psychiatry Research, one of the leading international scientific journals within the field of psychiatric research.

The study describes two of the schizophrenia disease-specific brain stem abnormalities. The identified abnormalities are of significant importance to distinguish schizophrenia from differential diagnostically related psychiatric disorder groups, including autism spectrum and drug induced psychoses.

- “This study is of great importance for the understanding of schizophrenia, as well as the documentation of SensoDetect BERA ®-method usability and credibility” says Soren Nielzén, the chief of medicine at SensoDetect, associate professor at Lund University and  senior psychiatrist.
