Leif Smeby, Chairman
Leif Smeby, PhD in Bioengineering, has more than 35 years of experience in biotechnical research and development. Prior to this, he served as Senior Vice President at Gambro AB, and has extensive experience in international corporate development in Europe, USA and Japan. Smeby has served as chairman of SensoDetect since 2006 and has actively participated in the development of the company.
Sören Nielzén, Board member and Medical Director
Associate Professor and Senior Physician, Medical Director at SensoDetect. Previously, Nielzén was Director of Studies at the Department of Psychiatry at Lund University and Guest Professor in Vienna. Sören Nielzén is an internationally recognized researcher in Clinical Psychoacoustics, and his thesis "Music, Mind and Mental Illness” is a reference work. Today, he heads the company's research and clinical activities.
Olof Stocksén, Board member
BA with a major in Psychology, MBA. Stocksén has over 30 years of experience in international medtech business in renal health care, cardiac surgery, blood component technology and intensive care/anesthesia via a number of positions such as SVP Business Development, Head of Marketing in Germany, Product Group Manager, and various directorships in the Gambro Group. Operates his own business since 2005.
Per Sjöberg, Board member
Per Sjöberg has more than 35 years of experience in biotechnology/life science industries. Previous owner and CEO of Dan-Sjö Medical AB (a Swedish market leader in anesthesia and intensive care equipment, that was acquired by GE Healthcare AB in 2004). Currently, Sjöberg is CEO and majority owner of LPS Medical AB and majority owner of LPOS Förvaltning AB. Sjöberg is also the chairman of these companies. In addition, Sjöberg is active as an angel investor and mentor in Connect Skåne.
Lars Gunnarsson, Board member
Ph.D. in Microbiology. Lars Gunnarsson has over 30 years of experience in Environmental Engineering especially within Water Environment Technology. During these years Gunnarsson has been active in research, worked as a consultant and CEO in entrepreneurial companies as well as operating organizations in Sweden and Great Britain. Gunnarsson has been involved in the start-up process and development phase in companies and is currently active as an angel investor in four companies and is the chairman in two of these.
Johan Källstrand, CEO
Johan Källstrand holds an M.Sc in Neuropsychology combined with a master thesis in business administration, focusing on financing. Källstrand has done postgraduate studies in Experimental psychiatry at Lund University and in electrophysiology at the University of Veterinary Medicine in Hannover, Germany. He was the founder and CEO of Kasper Care AB, a health service company that he sold 2008. At SensoDetect, Källstrand has created the company's business model and sales organization. Källstrand serves as CEO of SensoDetect since August, 2008.
